MatchesA traditional slow left-arm orthodox spinner, Manav Suthar has the craft, flight, drift and subtle variations to outfox batters. The Rajasthan-based spinner rose to prominence in the 2022/23 Ranji Trophy, where he picked up 39 wickets at an average of 20.33 - the most for his side that season - while also contributing two half-centuries. Suthar has continued to build an impressive all-round red-ball profile, including a best of 8 for 33 and a maiden first-class century (120) against Himachal Pradesh after walking in at 98 for 5. In 2024, he delivered a standout performance on his Duleep Trophy, claiming 7 for 49 in a match-winning spell. Suthar also has a fifer for India A - 5/107 against Australia A in 2025. He was also among the joint second-highest wicket-takers in the 2023 ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup, with 10 wickets in five matches. Part of Gujarat Titans since 2024, Suthar has been retained for TATA IPL 2026, reflecting the franchise’s faith in his potential.
